Yep. As for the tour, I had a blast. We couldnt have asked for a better group of bands to go out on our first tour with. All of the bands were great and we met lots of wondeful people; including many of you! You guys are all collectively my hero! So if you came out to a show and you have an opinion please share it with the class. Even if you were sorely dissapointed.
And as for recording we are finishing up a couple new songs and then a week from tommorow (Saturday) we are flying up to Seattle and will spend the next 5 weeks blasting and growling and shredding and grunting and screaming and hopefully not killing each other and we should come out with a phenomenal album for you guys to listen to.
Anyway...let us know your thoughts on the tour and about the new album..."Terminate Damnation".

Yall gotta come back to the Shma as soon as you can, too. We miss you guys!

Do you know at what store I might expect to find this CD? I know that Best Buy sells some Solid State but I didnt know if you're CD would be there...The local Christian Bookstore doesn't really have that great of a collection of music to choose from so, unfortunately, I don't think that I'll be able to find your CD there. I bought Zao's latest, and Underoath, and Dead Poetic at Best Buy so maybe I'll find Becoming the Archetype there

Question...about what month should I expect the album to come out? If I remember correctly, it'll be sometime in late June. But hey, I'm just a fan, I could be wrong haha.

My thought is if they are going out on tour with Extol soon, that they would have it out, like Laura said, around June. But, it will take time to record, mix, etc. So, who knows? I guess the band and the label will know. Either way, bring it on!

If I remember correctly, it'll be sometime in late June. I was checking out SolidState's website and I read this... ...Having already released a full length, self-produced album as The Remnant in early 2004, the band plans to enter the studio in March 2005 at Seattleās Compound for a summer release... This kinda goes along with what you said Laura...I know whenever it is, it's going to be hard to keep these CDs on the shelves once the word gets out how friggin awesome these guys are...I've already told all of my friends to check out them out, and so far I haven't heard a single bad thing back (and my friends tend to be overly critical

Hey, I say, go to your local Christian stores and deluge them with pre-orders for their CD. Most of the stores around here carry very little in the way of heavy Christian music. I was lucky when the store I bought the Showdown's CD was going to get at least one. Shameful. Christian stores tend to miss out a little bit. The one who has the best selection around here, that I've noticed is Amen Corner.

Man, I'm gonna do that next time I'm in Family Christian. They're pretty good about ordering heavy cd's though. They carry Living Sacrifice hahaha.

The Family Christian by us on 280 is carrying little in the way of anything other than Gospel, CCM, or Praise and Worship. They've been scaling down their music section there for some reason.

I have a Lifeway Christian Bookstore, and the hardest thing that they carry is Pillar. I'm not trying to dis Pillar at all, but they just aren't quite hard enough for my liking ;D But, I will certainly try to request that they get the Terminate Damination, as countseth said... As regards the new CD, I happen to know that it will contain the best music that has ever been heard by mortal ears. If you do not cease existence after the first listen, then you have conquered and proved to be a worthy listener for the future and friend for the mighty (us). ;D
