Do you know the Tony Christie song? If not, don't look it up.

lol
That was a new one by me.
But yeah, my parents moved just south of it recently, and a couple of my siblings and their families, and my uncle and his family all live in Amarillo. We also have other family scattered about within an hour of the city. I lived there a couple of years myself when I was a child, before my dad met my stepmom.

;D BTA was awesome when they came to Plano, Texas this week. Although, I wish they had played more from "The Physics of Fire." They only played "Epoch of War" and "Autopsy" from that album, as well as "Into Oblivion" and "Elegy" from their first album.
Although, I am aware that most of their songs are anywhere between 4 - 11 minutes long. But I wish they would have played "Endure", because it's very fast progressive metal with a great message.
Anyhow, I know I shouldn't be complaining because they haven't come to the North Texas area since Demon Hunter's (2006) "Undying" Tour. They need to come back more often.

I actually liked that movie where his life was a TV show... The Truman Show. I thought it didn't really decide whether it wanted to be funny or serious, if you wanted laughs it was too intense, but if you wanted a killer sci-fi it was too transparent. It should be re-made, but much darker, and with no insights to whether it is actually a tv show or not. Then we would be left guessing the whole time.

Except... we'd know... because it was already made.
I thought it was really funny. All the blatant symbolism was a little annoying, though.
