Has anybody been to see Blindside on this tour? If so what was it like? I heard that they are playing songs off of each of their CD's. I am lucky!!!! I get to see them on July 30th with the Showdown and Showbread. Should be awsome!!!!!

My friend said he is gonna see them. I asked him why he didn't invite me, and he said that he didn't think my mom would like the idea...Oh well, I'll see what I can do to see a band I highly respect.

They put on a good show, but they aren't my style. It just sounded like noise to me... Spazzrock. Their setlist is: A llama eats a Giraffe The Dissonance of Discontent Dead by Dawn Mouth like a Magazine Stabbing Art to Death So Selfish its funny Welcome to Plainfield, Tobe Hooper Showbread is not my style either, but yet I am kind of looking forward to seeing them because they are different, and they have a Keytar. Thanks for all the set list and info. I will let yall know how the show was.

weeeell,i just got back from the show.the venue had organiational problems.we waited out front for an hour and a half to get in(man its hot!barstow is hotter-i hope they dont make you wait at your venue, passive!)due to transportation problems-showbread wasnt there-probably not in barstow either-i wanted to see them!-a local group "catherine"played.they were good but the sound was AAAAAALLLLLLLLL JACKED UP! all through the night! show down rocked face as always. this was my first experience with blindside- they were good but they only had one roadie! it took them forever to get going! real bands do their own sound checks!!im sorry this isnt a great report. your show will be better! the blindside fans were goin'nuts.they were tight!good set with a few slowdowns in the middle.still gotta give it up to showdown. those guys ...well er um...... lets just say they are very good at what they do.....amd thats kicking the snot outta you!!!!!!!get snakebit!!livin for the Lord!!!!

The show on the 30th was really good. There were 4 bands Blindeside, Showbread, The Showdown, and School Yard Heros. I will list them in the order that I thought they played the best.
1 Blindside They were just amazing!!!! Everybody sung along with all of their songs it was so cool to hear 800 to 1000 people sing songs like King of the Closet, About a Burning Fire, Pitiful, Sleep Walking, and Eye of the Storm. It was just amazing to hear that.
2 Showbread They were really good live alot better than I had thought that they would be. What they did on stage and in the crowd made them my second favorit band at the show. (The only down side to the set was that they were wairing these tight cut of 4 or 5 inches abouve the knee shorts. That just was not right my eyes were violated.)
3 I know I am going to get flack for this. School Yard Heros is my number three. Their set was good but nothing amazing.
4 The Showdown Why number 4 because for, 1 they only played like 4 songs if that many, 2 they had sound problems, 3 the singer talked more than the band played 4 they didn't play From the Mouth of Gath Comes Terror. (I have seen this band twice and I did not like them live either time that I saw them. I like their CD much better than their show.)
There were no sound problems at the show cept for the thing with The Showdown, but over all the sound was very good.

You will get flack for making the Showdown number 4. 3. I am using all the strength in me not to give you that flack...grrr, I still love you. The End...

The mix was terrible for the showdown when i saw them wednesday. It was the first time I was dissapointed by them, but I understand why. It wasn't completely their fault. I'm just used to seeing them in smaller venues.
Showbread was decent.
Blindside shocked me. I was expecting Christian's voice to be terrible live. he's gotten a lot better.

Showdown with new songs? I'm excited. Eh, the new songs weren't that great. They're trying to get signed to a bigger label, so they're more melodic and nowhere nearly as technical. They looked kinda bored while playing them. They just don't have the presence on a big stage that I've seen them have playing smaller gigs.
