POD is very energetic live, but the singing is weak.

Alright, well another good concert has come and gone, here is my feeble attempt at a review:
Maylene & The Sons of Disaster: Good show, too short, but what do you expect from an opener. Solid sound, different genre of heavy music. I enjoyed them. I give them a 3/5.
The Chariot: Wow, what can I say, from the first time that I heard these guys I loved them. Their stage show is just as "freakish" as their music. At one point, the lead singer slammed the mic and mic stand to the floor and then laid down to sing some lyrics. Most of the people in the crowd hadn't heard The Chariot before, and thought that they entertained nicely, but didn't care for their music. I give them a 4/5.
Pillar: Yuck. Most of the people in the crowd loved them, but I thought that they were too cliched, it was like listening to the same song over and over, but with a new cliche in the chorus. I'll give them props for getting the 13-17 year old crowd into it, but not me. Missed quite a few drumbeats, had a drum break. Just not a solid show. 2/5
P.O.D.: This was my first time seeing them. I was hoping that they sang a lot of their older tunes. I can't really get into the newer stuff from the last two albums, and they didn't disappoint. They started with Boom, and ended with Outkast. They sang all of their hits from Satellite. The whole band looked like they were having fun, which would be tough to do in a small club when you have played at arena's in the past. The last song, Outkast, they brought up the lead singers from the openers and they all sang together. Very well done. Josh from The Chariot walked out on, yes on, the crowd for a bit. 4/5 because of the energy of the band.

Just not a solid show. 2/5 i've seen them in concert too (a six-flags concert). the crowd really loved them, but i think there are tons of bands a whole lot better. only song i think they do pretty well is Frontline.
