Here's one. A friend of mine and I stayed in the city of Macomb, instead of camping on the grounds, and we went to see Pirates 2 Sat. afternoon. Well, when we were driving to the theater there were four guys walking down the street. My friend sarcastically said, "Look it's POD." So I looked over there, and it actually was POD. I don't know what they were doing walking down the street. I thought it was pretty cool.

that's really funny. it's kind of like the fact that when my dad went with me to the Undying show and stood in the back this guy stood next to him for a little and was listening really hard to BTA. turns out it was the ABR guy listening to the sound cause it took him a while to get the sound right for him during their set.

that last post reminded me of another story. when we were walking up the club (me and my dad) we say like two tour buses and on the other side of the street two bands with trailers. he was like "what are those for?" and i said "the trailers and vans are for the bands that arn't as popular/don't make as much money". as i say this, i pass one of the vans and i see this guy with a long beard and a hat getting something out of the trailer. and i thought "who is that guy? i recognize him from somewhere." he looked just like the lead singer for He Is Legend at a glance. anyways, when BTA got up on stage i totally realized that it was Duck. felt like an idiot. all the pictures i had seen of him have been old and his beard wasn't as long

The we passed this dude and the first thing I noticed was his BTA shirt. Then as we passed I looked up at his face and thought "Hey, that looks like Don Clark from demon hunter". Then when he came out on stage that night it was confirmed. Had I only noticed sooner, I would have hugged him

All the BTA guys are crazy nice people, meeting them all was incredable.
my stories.... uummm
walking over to Aletheian's merch table, Joe was sitting there eating some sort of hard candy or something, it caught my attention so i walked over and asked him what he was eating, he stood up saying "it's uh...I....kind of...." looked me straight in the eye and said "...blood." I found this highly amusing coming from a metal drummer, Jos is one of the nicest guys I've ever met, he started laughing after he said this.
I met up with Keaton of these boards and Accidental Design at the Aletheian set... I was stading there watching them set up and started talked to a guy in front of me, Joe it turns out his name was and he started talking to a guy beside him, then we kind of all started talking until Aletheian started.... noce of us really moved during the show so afterwards as Aletheian ended i was almost positive the guy Joe and myself had been talking was Keaton ssooo i tapped his should and asked "do you by any chance run Accidental Design?" he smiled and said something along the lines of "I thought i recognised you!" and yeah, we stood there talking until 1:45 ish , went over to talk to Aletheian, talked very breifly to Wisdom as he walked by and i hitched a ride back on Keaton's golf cart. met up with him a day later at merch tent #1 b accident, he was trying to get out of sponsering a child for World Vision but the woman he was talking to is very persistant ... it was very amuing to watch.

Other random things...
did anyone else see the camel on a farm coming in to Bushnell??
it took me 21 hours to drive home.
Jimmy Ryan let me scream "The scars outlive the pain, the sickness still remains" during 'Beheaded' in Demon Hunter's set.
someone bought my Canadian money off me...
Michigan and Illinois are reeeeeeaalllllllllyyyyy boring to drive through.
the guys in Crimson Moonlight have heavy Swedish accents and are really nice people...
oh! during the first Crimson Moonlight set, Pilgrim asks the crow "tell me... what death metal sounds like!!!!" and the crowd erupts in these super low death growls!!!!! and he goes again "now tell me... what BLACK METAL sounds like!!!" and the tent is FILLED with these high-pitched shreiks!!! so eerie but so awesome at the same time.
