Uh, no runny. I just said that I was sorry, so maybe you should do something different from me.

Upcoming projects:
Unnamed project: Melodic extreme metal. Influenced mainly by death metal, thrash, groove metal, black metal and blues. Comparable to Underoath's Cries of the Past.
Kyrie Eleison: A straightforward black metal project w/Olias of Ad Gloriam. No Pitchfork artsy bulls**t, no depressive emo bulls**t, no faux-kvlt bulls**t, this is pure black metal that sounds like Nargaroth meets Darkthrone.
Also, I'm going to do a stoner band with my best friend Cassidy, eventually.

Local prog band from Mobile. The keyboardist is a good friend of mine and he also does the screams. Pretty good, but honestly the lead vocalist sucks. They played a show recently with a bunch of s**tty mallcore bands and about 80% of the crowd left when they played despite them being by far the best band there. www.myspace.com/daymoonsky

Well... recently I joined up with a new band locally. It's a bit different than what I'm used to playing... we're not metal of any sort... but it's not too bad. We seem to be well-loved at the few shows we've played, so far. www.myspace.com/upgoeshollywood

Well, after being in the 3rd band with a friend of mine, I've realized I have very little patience for working with other people and have thus started working on a solo project. They're off playing Memphis May Fire type stuff which puzzles me as they're all from Northern NJ.
I was skeptical of my equipment at first because I only have Garageband and Line6 TonePro GX at my disposal, but things are looking up. TonePro has a compressor. So does Garageband. That's double compression for some nice crunch.
I picked up a relatively cheap Peavey mic that supports both jacks (1/4 inch for the TonePro) because I didn't feel like shelling out $130 for a Shure SM58 with all the bells and whistles.
Not really sure what I'll be playing. I've been all over the place recently between Thrice, Zao, Mantric, and a few other things. I plan on using my e-bow for some stuff and adding a lot of keys-work.
I'll be handling all of the guitars, the bass, and the vox. I don't have a drum kit, so that's going to be the toughest part. I don't want to use garageband drums because that's the most un-metal thing I've ever heard of. Also, I kind of wanted to learn how to play drums. I subbed for percussionists in my old high school wind ensemble when my instrument didn't have a part. I don't think it would be too tough to learn.

You could try programming the drums with something like EZdrummer or Superior Drummer, that would probably be your cheapest bet.
I feel like drumset is a bit tougher to pick up than other instruments because rather than a slow incline of improvement, I've always had a sort of staircase of going nowhere and occasionally making a breakthrough. Perhaps you're a faster learner than I am, though.
You could also just record yourself playing a single piece of the set at a time and put all the tracks together as a way of slipping past the whole coordination aspect of drumset until you've got the hang of it.

Well, I'll take that into account. I appreciate it.

It's a very ambient and haunting sound that I can easily listen to again. Keep doing more.
