Working with clay is a lot of fun, and of course skulls are way cool. How big is it? Are you going to paint it, or leave it natural? Well I'm glad you like my salamander critter! Hmm... maybe I should try selling my wire-critters! Haha. Anyways, thanks for the kind words, and definitely post some pictures of the skull when it's finished!

It's about the size of a half loaf of bread, and it's pretty cool. I'm just painting it white and it has a few designs in the back. I just have to fire it and put on a couple new coats of glaze, etc. And you should totally sell those! They are awesome. Thanks for the kind words too.

And if you do make a wire-sculpture of Trogdor, you can send in a picture to Strongbad and he might show it sometime, like on Trogdor's birthday or something.

Right when I typed "Trogdor" I heard my brother start playing the song on Guitar Hero II in the other room... strange.

You know, I went to the art store yesterday to buy some more wire, but they were all out! Drat! So... if I were to make a Trogdor (very silly video btw!), would anyone actually want it? Heck, if you pay for the expenses/shipping and maybe some cookies, I'd be down to make people custom wire sculptures, like Trogdors. Of course I need to find some wire first, but that shouldn't be too difficult. Well let me know and chances are, I'd be more than happy to do it (if anyone actually wants one).

Haha, it's true I already got the link. I'm glad that made you smile though Radar! That's a really funny video though. I felt kind of silly laughing out loud at the computer screen when watching it. Good stuff. So Phillip (or anyone else that's interested in owning a custom wire sculpture), I got finals this week then I'll be home for the summer. I'll have plenty of time to get some wire and make you a Trogdor or whatever you want then. I figure I'll take some pictures of it once it's done, post 'em here and if you approve, I'll send it to you. We can figure out costs later, but I was thinking with shipping and wire cost, it'll probably be 10ish dollars.
Ooh this is exciting! No one's ever actually wanted to buy any of my art before! I guess if mechanical engineering doesn't work out for me, I'll have wire sculpture to fall back on haha.

WOOT to Wire Sculptures! Unfortunately, that clay skull hasn't come back for me yet.. it's STILL being fired in the kiln.
