From Jason's Facebook: If I haven't lost your attention, I want to reveal just the very basics of the new project that I am a part of. I am handling the vocal duties for a new progressive, melodic, death metal band called Solamors. I am joining former BTA bandmate, Alex Kenis (ex Aletheian/Crutch) and Travis Turner (Unteachers & ex Aletheian/Crutch). We are currently working on our first full length, "Depravity's Demise". We are shooting to have it finished by sometime this Spring. For the time being, you can go ahead and give us a "like" over at www.facebook.com/solamorsofficial. That will help me get you info about what is going on without always posting it here. I am sensitive to the fact that many of my friends have no interest in this style of music. Anyway...much more info, including music samples and videos are in the works and will be along shortly. I am extremely excited about this and hope you will help spread the excitement. Thanks! i'm a little excited by this

Someone on the Christian Metal Realm just posted about this! I too am mighty stoked. Although when he mentioned Alex, he said "ex Aletheian" which bums me out! I keep hoping Aletheian puts out some more music because they are (were?) awesome. This is great news though!

Aletheian haven't done anything for years, so I'm not massively surprised they called it a day. But they might do something again in the future, I thought Antestor was dead and buried when they said it was their last ever show in 2007.

i'll just leave this here in case if anyone hasn't seen it yet, but all I can say is that I am definitely glad to see Alex is back and will rape our ears with his amazing guitar playing eventhough i really miss Aletheian and wish they did something else too. Seeing what both he, Travis and Jason are going to put together is definitely going to be beyond brutal. btw as far as the Aletheian thing goes, from what i've seen with what's going on with the other band members, they're just too busy dealing with things like marriage, school, etc. you know, the usual things that would make someone temporarily (or permanently) leave a band...but yeah, there's always a very small possibility they'll be back. who knows? www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=307074062728889
