That's right. Ask Seth anything. Whether or not he will answer is another thing...
So, when is the next Anchors tour?

What's the most earth-shattering riff you have ever written?

That's right. Ask Seth anything. Whether or not he will answer is another thing... So, when is the next Anchors tour? So there's another thread titled "BTA Q&A" that has some questions I answered. But I can answer here too. Anchors will almost certainly never tour again. I did release a single earlier this year and I have another one recorded that I will release once I know how I want to go about doing that.

NICE TRY, BRETT YOU AND I BOTH KNOW ANCHORS BROKE UP IN 2006 Started in 2006, but released the EP in 2010 and did our final tour that summer. It was a tragic tour for me. Drummer left the band at our Portland show (on the other side of the country from where we lived). Then the guitarist left 5 days later in LA without telling anyone. He literally walked out of the bar we were in and walked to the airport, bought a ticket and flew home, leaving everything with us except the clothes he had on his back. I lost massive amounts of money on that tour. I was financing everything and working part time at Rite Aid when you're not touring doesn't exactly make enough to cover the thousands lost on a tour like that. Oh yeah, then the replacement drummer we'd lined up before the guitarist left decided not to fly out to join the band and finish the tour. He agreed to and I bought him a ticket, then he just didn't go to the airport. It was possibly the most stress/misery I've ever experienced in my life. So that won't be happening again.

What's the most earth-shattering riff you have ever written? Earth-shattering? I guess the sort of dancing guitar riff in Elegy (the single-note one after the strumming intro) is the one that sort of "shattered" my earth a little. I couldn't believe I'd written it. It sounded like exactly what I was aiming for: a blend of Opeth and Extol.

Is it true that Wisdom stole money on tour and thats why he was replaced? Haha, I assume you're joking, but sometimes I hear people seriously ask about rumors they've heard and I can't imagine who would've made them up. So if you're serious, no. No one ever stole money from the band and that's nice. We were robbed of guitars once. That sucked. But that's it. Jason left because if he didn't focus on his family more at that juncture, he might've had serious problems. It was the appropriate and responsible thing to do, even though I didn't want him to do it. What can you do?
