I remember there being quite a few people here who were or currently are in a band.
Was it successful? Was it a nasty break-up? Are you in a different band now? Did Axl Rose really say that to your mother? Details, detail...

I was in a band after I stopped posting here.
It wasn't really that great, we didn't record much, just played a couple of shows and then the guitarist had to run off with his soon to be wife.
Love sucks guys, don't fall for it. You won't be able to play in bands anymore.

I was in a christian metalcore band in high school.
I played rhythm guitar for a while but our vocalist became atheist and we went our separate ways.

Scott and I are still in the process of releasing our first album. I feel like I've literally being saying that since I was here last. It'll probably come out the same time that the Kloroform/Frigid Ground/etc. split gets released. I started a dumb thrash band with my friend but quit when I moved down to FL: swampsquat.bandcamp.com/Same story as above only this time with atmospheric sweater metal: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lpNrvVrLaQAnd I recorded two low-effort black/punk songs by myself recently: ancap.bandcamp.com/releases

I'm not in a band. I played 2 shows. Slam death metal, just me and my vocalist.
I repeat, I'm not in a band.
