it's very rare that you get someone who does actually listen to every type of music. i don't I either actively play or listen to: -Soft worship music -Rock (Old and new) -Punk/Pop Punk -Hardcore -Metalcore -Metal/Progressive Metal -Funk -Blues -Jazz -Classical (Not from every era, but a good deal I listen to alot) -Modern band music -Old School Rap/some modern Christian rap -Electronica -Techno Not really much country however. I guess its too cheesy and lacking of power for me....

While that is a reasonable list. It is far from every type/genre of music.

Not really much country however. I guess its too cheesy and lacking of power for me.... You're just not listening to the right stuff. Try "Wherever You Go" by Clint Black, and listen to the instrumentation in that song.

Bluegrass and old-timey stuff is as close I'll come to country. I like pretty much every song on O Brother Where Art Thou?. If you haven't seen that movie, you seriously need to. It's one of my favorites. Back on topic:
