I figured I'd start one since I dont' see a designated one. I see a few individual ones, why not a prayer request thread for everyone? I'll start... Looking to propose to my girlfriend soon, things have been hard lately working tons of overtime, very stressful among other things, if you could pray for my girlfriend as she is just now starting to go back to church and landed a new job? I'm very proud of her, but it's hard for her. Also I'd like to put in a prayer request for undecieved, sounds like things are hard for them and they are a good member of this board, I'd like to put in a prayer request for undecieved. Hope things get better for you Undecieved. I know I'll be praying for you. Next person

I have a friend in NY who has cancer, she just had surgery (the cancer was the size of a volley ball literally)everything came out okay but she is losing weight and just not feeling good. So please keep her in prayer.
I will pray for you undecieved. Please don't take your life.

Well, first and foremost: undeceived. Everyone keep praying for him. Next, I found out recently that a friend of mine has cancer. So far, I haven't heard too much more about it, so I'm assuming it's not too serious, but it's still not good. I also ask that ya'll would pray for my family. My mother just started a thrift store that supports out of country missionaries, and it is really stressful for her. She is very discouraged because business did not become what she expected it to be. My dad quit his job, and is almost done with his last two weeks. Thanks in advance.

Well I thought I'd post this over here because it's mostly the only boards that can get serious about that kind of stuff. It might not look important to you but it really is to me. I really like this girl and I think she does too, just pray that everything goes well and that I (we) do God's will in everything I(we)'ll do. I've been looking for the right girl for a while and this just seems to be working pretty well.
And I'll try to remember all your requests.

My grandpa died last week. My dad and his sisters are alright but my grandma is taking it really hard. If you want to pray for her that would be great. The last couple posts on my livejournal talk about them. www.livejournal.com/users/yougavemehope

I guess, remember undecieved, that last post he made kind of bothered me, and since he hasn't replied I'm a little worried. Not much for me, but pray that I can work things out with the girl I like, so that I can see her again and have the strength to tell her how I feel. That's about the only thing I can think about and it's been driving me crazy. Also, I want to start a band but I don't really know anybody to play in the band except my cousin. I know I said before not to pray for me, but I really just meant that I wasn't asking at that time to pray for me.

Hey Everybody
right now I'm in a really big questioning state in my life. I'm in college right now and I feel like I'm losing touch with the Creator. I have been a "Christian" for 3 years now and i thought that i would be strong enough to do this thing but i was mistaken. i have been trying to do everything on my own and i cant do it any more. can anyone empathize with me or know where I'm coming from? i really need someone to help me a little in prayer. i dont want to be a burden to anyone but I'm trying to actually ask for some help here.

I went through something similar earlier this year, and I still have trouble with it. For the most part, we can't do everything for ourselves. So we should ask God to help us. Since we can't do things for ouselves we should find ways to do things for others. To many times, when things go wrong, we try to blame God for what happened, but it was really our own fault. Personally music has helped alot, especially bands like Five Iron Frenzy, Demon Hunter, and Blindside. I can't forget BTA either, they too give me alot of the encouragemant I need to make it through each day. So many times a song has moved me to pray, and then all the problems of my life seem to just go away. Try and hold on to that, don't try to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, but let God carry you on His. I don't know if that helps, but it's the best I can do.

Thanks for the response!!!!! I feel like i have been growing to a point that i will be able to move on past this stage of complacency that i have been stuck in. i am learning what it is like to try and trust God with everything rather than just what is comfortable!!!! thank you though, your response is an uplifting one and every little bit helps!!!!!!

Today, I tripped and banged my head on a wall pretty hard. I have a possible minor concussion. Had a catscan earlier today, around noonish. I won't get the results until 1-2 working days. Everything's a lot slower for me, harder to process information and harder to think or use my mind, basically.
Just pray that I'll be okay, physically and emotionally. Thanks for your support.

Haven't you noticed? Undeceived's back. So does that mean we stop praying? I don't think so.
