Well, yeah... But I wouldnt show my kids metal when they are only five. Right? You could show your kids metal when they are still in the womb. Then you could have some real metalhead kids when they're in elementry school. I dunno, music is music. I won't take my kids to shows until they're 12-ish most likely, but I'll let my kid listen to any style of music. When I have one. ;D

i think you kinda have to find new genres of music on your own. people can introduce you to stuff all they want, but it all comes down to personal taste in the end.

Hey, I am a dad, and I'll be going to all of these shows. I'm 36 with 3 kids, 2 dogs a cat and live in the burbs, but I will never grow out of my music. Went to the P86 blades show, the POD tour and will be at the undying show. BTA is playing on the 6th of July, the 9th of July and then like the 15th of July all within one hour of my locale!!!!! Thats pretty cool. Have your kids gotten into your music? Are they old enough to start liking it? My oldest is only 8 and she is into the KidsBop cd's, the Hillary Duff's and pop like that. I did bring my 12 yr old nephew to the p86 and POD shows though.

Today I got a yogurt from the refridgerator and looked at the expiration date and it said June 15, and I was like, "sweet, this yogurt is gonna be gross on the day BTA and Demon Hunter come to Sacramento... what are the odds." And then I remembered that we were doing odds and probability in Alg. 2 right now, so I decided it was about 1:30756m34... but that was just a guesstimate...

what if you ate the yogurt at the concert in honor of their awesomeness? I'm really weird, so I wouldn't eat anything on the day it's expired (or anytime after) but I could bring the container... except it's already in the garbage and I don't want to dig through the garbage, because that's disgusting... I use "..." a lot... yeah...

I just got my BTA shirt today in the mail. I can't wait to wear it to school tomorrow and pretty much every other day afterwards and then to the concert when it comes here.
