Well, it sounds like your Mom wanted a day of peace and quiet, so you might just get to hear my heart more than anything. And, the Mrs will be along too. I've convinced her of that. Seriously, though, I view it as more of a ministering thing more than anything. It's just a leading of God, I feel.

I know I'm sort of jumping right in the middle of a semi-private conversation, but if you want a good name, you could take the one I want to use.... I doubt I'll ever actually get to make music anyway, even though I do plan on recording a worship CD soon. It's a cool sounding name, and, best of all, is rich with meaning. Tetelesti I did a quick search, and found a horribly cheesy band that already has that name, but there's no reason you can't use the name yourself. I'm sure your music would be far better, anyway.... The name means "It is finished," or, "Paid in full." It is what Christ said when He died on the Cross. So you can see how rich it is. Very cool sounding, too. And in terms of lyrics - if you guys would like, I could help out with lyrics. It would be a long-range collaboration. I have some very good poems and songs written. (Well, I think they're good...) I'd be happy to post them if you'd like to see them at any time. I'll be praying that you guys can pull everything together in terms of music and ministry, and that you stay focused on Christ, and Christ alone. God bless! ~EvadingShadows

I remember that phrase well. I saw Joe White at Promise Keepers talk about that phrase. And please feel free to chime in! Thanks for the info and stuff!

Oh, and do you have anything recorded? I'd love to hear something if you do. Also, in terms of lyrics, what style are you guys going for? I'd be more than happy to show you some of my stuff. It would be really cool if it were to be used to minister to people. Thanks, and God bless! ~EvadingShadows

We haven't recorded anything yet. We would like to record our 20 minute jam sessions though. Lyrically, I've had some ideas for stuff. I'm always open to ideas though!

I really like that name, I'm gonna ask the guys about it.
And really, Dustin did record some of our stuff on mp3's and then burned them onto a cd. I don't know how to send the mp3's through e-mail, but if you ask Alan, I think he knows how.
Lyrics wise--from what me, Alan, Dustin, and Michael talked about on Saturday, we want more or less "cryptic" type lyrics, but still you know, Christian. We want people to be interested in our lyrics, want to know where it came from, and pick up a Bible to find out. You know what I'm saying? I'm not sure if I'm making any sense. We also want the lyrics to relate to real-life.
We would definitely appreciate any help you (or anyone else) could offer. If you wanna get in touch with me to talk about it all, my AIM screen name is in my profile and so is my email addy.

Hey Luara, did you get my last e-mail? I've been gone for a while, over break, and haven't been able to get on the site, but I was working on some song lyrics for all of you. I sent them to Luara, but I haven't gotten a response. Did you get them, Luara? If not, I could post them on here if you'd like to see them. I'd still like to hear you guys sometime. God bless! ~EvadingShadows

Yeah, I got them and I loved them! Sorry I didn't respond, things have been hectic here lately....plus I've been sick this week so like, right when I get home I've been going to bed. But yeah, I got them and they're awesome. I would love it if you continued to help us out on this. P.S. Slight instrument change: I'm now doing keys

I'm sorry you've been sick; I'll pray you feel better. And I'm glad you liked them. I'll have to explain them more fully to you, as they are a bit in-depth. In fact, I made up a word or two in them -- that will have to be explained as well.
Keys are awesome. Cool Hand Luke is great with piano; you guys should listen to them sometime if you don't already. I know you're a fan of Still Remains, so I won't suggest them. Also, Frost Like Ashes does some neat keys. Oh, and we can't forget Becoming The Archetype! lol. God bless! ~EvadingShadows
