muddy? whats that mean? lol. I think what she means is that everything sounds as if it was not produced well. Several tracks sound as if they were pressed into one, several tracks stuck together like mud making the CD sound muddy. To me it was an awesome album. The only thing that I have to say bad about it was that the bass guitar and drums sound like one instrument. They kinds clashed (stuck together like mud, haha) together in the CD, and I couldnt really understand the guitar parts becuase of how heavy the drums were and bass were. Other then that, these guys/girl are very creative and an awesome band to see live. Great guys/girl to talk to, and an awesome band to listen to. oh, ok, thanks for taking the time to explain that. Yeah, I think i agree that the new Mortal Treason cd was muddy...

I think one word sums up the new Mortal Treason sound... Blackmetalcore (Ok, so it's not really a word, but you get the idea)

Hey everyone, over the past several years you have been an inspiration, and a blessing to all of us in "Mortal Treason". It never ceases to amaze us at how encouraging, and how kind you all have been. For some of you, we've been able to return the favor. For others we pray that our music will do that in our absence. In a nutshell, we just want you to know how much we love you and are so thankful for your support. With that said, the time has come for us to say goodbye to everyone. Through intense prayful consideration and much soul searching, we've decided to part ways and follow the paths that Jesus has laid out for each of us. The decision was absolutely one of the hardest decisions that we've had to make because of how much we care for you, and for what God is doing in each of you. There comes a time when the planter is required to stop planting and move on to another planting ground to allow the seeds to grow that have already been planted. We've seen in some of your eyes the stirring that Christ has been doing in your souls, whether you want to admit it or not, we've seen it, and we want to encourage you guys not to run away from that, because if you do you will never understand the meaning of true happiness, and joy, and fulfillment.
Please don't think this is the end of us completely. You will be hearing music from each of us for a long time to come, and for most of us it will be metal. Just like the Lord has alotted time for you to grow, he has done the same in us. We won't be shutting down our myspace. You can feel free to send us all the messages that you want, and we will still reply to them the best we can. Thank you again for all that you are, and all that you will become. Godbless you for everything you've done , and for everything that you are about to do.
By the way, if you have any pictures or video futage from any of our shows, past or present please send copies to this address. We'll see if we can try to put together a DVD for all of you if we can get enough footage.

They wern't that good anyways. You are highly mistaken. Those guys have a true and Genuine Heart For Christ. You don't find that alot among Metal bands, heck not even Christian Metal Bands. Plus their music is amazing.

Having a heart for Christ and writing original music are two very different things.

Ya, I'm glad I got to see them while I could. I could just feel God moving at their concerts, which is very rare at a hardcore show in a bar.

I got to see these guys when they were just starting out. They were amazing then. With all the mulitple member changes, I'm not surprised that this happened, but I tip my hat to them. They will be missed.
