All of their DVD. They play tracks as far back as Blackwater Park, I believe. It was right when Damnation and Deliverance had come out so they didn't play anything from the new one because it wasn't out yet. Actually, I thought their Damnation stuff was okay. Well, you should definitely listen to Black water Park and Ghost Reveries on CD before judging them. As far as the DVD, meh. The set list was lacking considering they didn't play Demon of the Fall or Blackwater Park. Deliverance and Damnation our my least favorite Opeth albums.

Not a War of Ages fan, personally, but that's aight.
I'll consider checking out more Opeth, but honestly, I'm not sure how much more time I should invest into exploring a band that I haven't liked in the past, especially given how much time I've already lent their music.
Just acquired the last Smashing Pumpkins album (billy-corgan.com, go to MP3s). It's really good, a great mix of their Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie glory days, and their Adore and MACHINA experimentalism. It's called MACHINA II, which means it is the companion to the first MACHINA. The thing is, they wanted to release it as a double-disc album but Virgin refused due to poor sales of Adore. So, as a farewell gift and as a middle finger to their record label, they printed 25 copies on vinyl LPs as well as 25 copies each of 3 EPs which were b-sides and alternate versions; they distributed them to 25 lucky fans who were active in the Smashing Pumpkins online community, and gave them instructions to convert them to digital as soon as possible and start sharing them online for free.
I also found Zwan - Mary, Star of the Sea, and Remy Shand - The Way I Feel at a local used CD shop.
Next purchase: probably Unwed Sailor - Circles. Or, Stargazer - The Scream that Tore the Sky. Or maybe some pg.99.

Scream that Tore the Sky is an interesting listen, but I might advise you to go with Unwed Sailor on for this purchase (especially since you already like that band).

War of Ages = awesome Opeth = amazing band, but not really a fan. Damnation is by far their most uninteresting work. Orchid and Blackwater Park are really good though. The Smashing Pumpkins = meh, I have a good friend that listens to them and it's sad listening to him talk about Billy Corgan and whatnot while pretending that I actually care. LoL. Anyways, last cd I bought....man, it's been awhile, I think it was the new Skillet cd. I have a few cds I plan on getting soon. Mute Math - Mute MathBetween The Buried and Me - The Silent Circus (Re-Issue)The Prize Fighter Inferno - My Brother's Blood MachineInhale Exhale - The Lost, The Sick, The SacredCoheed & Cambria - The Last Supper: Live At The Hammerstein Ballroom DVD Further Seems Forever - The Final Curtain CD/DVD He is Legend - Suck Out The PoisonDead Poetic - VicesNow, I just need to get paid.

Last album I bought: "Origin" by Borknagar. Their acoustic one I mentioned. It's real nice. The acoustic version of one of their older songs "Oceans Rise" is awesome. It's not a very long cd (34 minutes or so) but it's a good one. My only other complaint is that I would have preferred some more driving songs, as they're all kind of mid/slow paced. Next album: probably "Diadem of 12 Stars" by Wolves in the Throne Room. They're black metal from Washington. Not Christian, but I actually emailed them asking about their lyrics and they replied back stating that while their lyrics are not available to the public, they have nothing to do with Satan or stuff like that. Check 'em out if you like eerie black metal about nature and stuff: www.wolvesinthethroneroom.com/menudo1.html-Kerrick

Pink Floyd is good, but I don't think The Wall was that great. How wrong you were...

Pink Floyd is good, but I don't think The Wall was that great. Gee whiz, that's too bad. Well, different tastes, I guess. Fixed.

it is quite excellent.
Clean vocals/Choral arrangements are a definite stand-out for me.
EDIT: Also, the use of horns... Wow, that makes me very happy. This whole EP is indeed a beautiful work Lucas. Cheers on being one of my main inspirations for buying it.
