And if the bounty hunter and the super-soldier fought, do you have any idea how awesome that would be?
It would be like having two entities composed not of carbon, iron etc. but instead of solid awesomeness engaging in one of the most presumably awesome battle ever.

Nah. Chief has destroyed whole world before. Plus, according to the Halo books, which are considered cannon, aside from being able to flip over vehicles that are sometimes over 7 tons, he can run at 50 mph, has uber reflexes, has incredibly powerful weaponry, has been training as a soldier since he was 10 and once even deflected a rocket with his bare arm.
Basically, he's stronger, faster, and more big and scary then Fett. His armor suit would presumably be stronger as well, as aside from his (and all other spartan's) energy shield, it makes him (and all spartans) even stronger then he already was, improves his aim drastically, provides night-vision (seen in one of the books). And, the suit is made from many layers of reinforced steel.
Plus, his guns, while seemingly not too powerful, are really strong when you think about it. He's got an assault rifle which fires bullets that are even bigger then machine gun bullets, a frigging plasma sword (that was also way overpowered), an overpowered shotgun (in Halo 1 at least), and an explosive-bullet spitting pistol that's even more powerful then an assault rifle.
That's not to say Fett's a pushover. Tactically, he's as tough as Chief, although the strategies they were taught are different. I think they've both trained in combat as kids. His armor tho, probably aint as tough, although I'm not too sure about his dual pistols. Can carry more weapons, although his rocket launcher (on his jetpack) won't be too useful (Chief's super reflexes help to dodge those easily) and his flamethrower won't really do anything to a ton of steel.

I guess you don't understand what "But Boba Fett would win. The end." means. That means that Boba Fett would win. The end.
