You know it's a metal bill when your eyes hurt after trying to read who's playing.

not much thrash considering the name of the tour. obviously. This one guys comment was pretty good: "Thrash and Burn tour, featuring no thrash bands. I guess that's the burn" *rimshot*

It refers to Darkest Hour, they get some thrash labeling sometimes. Arsis has that element also. I would really like to see this, but I'm probably gonna pass it up in favor of the At The Gates reunion. Time will tell.

Darkest Hour, Arsis, Parkway Drive (old stuff only, new is over-produced crap).
I'll probably go if it isn't too expensive and the "Special" guests are good (ahem Veil of Maya ahem). Just like Summer Slaughter, there are only a few bands I like.

Hey Vansan... Where's At the Gates playing? And where? I want to see them too! =) lol.

They're playing Warehouse Live in Houston on July 17th, White Rabbit in S.A on the 18th, and House of Blues in Dallas on the 19th. I'm hoping to be at the Houston show, but moneys tight.

Thanks Vansan! I appreciate it! I suppose I'll be at the July 17th show unless something pops up... I also hope to see Living Sacrifice... Arsis... and ... well. that's it. Becoming the Archetype came through recently, but it was more than I could or wanted to drive to get there distance wise.

Well I was planning on going to Zimmers Hole instead of this show (they are on the same day in Seattle), but I won the 'Ask The Dude' contest for the Seattle date that the Darkest Hour guitarist is putting on during the tour. So it looks like I will be at this and I get to go hang out with the DH guitarist the whole time! Sweet!
