Yeah, it's getting to be that time again. F**k qualifications. What is this, a meritocracy? You don't get a job in this country based on how good you are at your work. What we need to do is elect a minority to the court simply because they're a minority. Actual courtroom experience not necessary. You're only responsible for people's well-being and s**t.

I was reading the Matrix's wikipedia articles the other day and found it amusing that there was a whole section devoted to the controversy of them putting those two white albino villians in the 2nd movie.

Eh, I think they're grasping at straws. Besides, the Star Wars character they mentioned was good/neutral. Frankly, they think anybody with pale skin and reddish eyes in movies are albinos. They thought an Orc was an albino. Good God, there's a bit of sensitivity about here. I don't moan that practically any time the Irish are portrayed in a movie (the new Punisher, Sin City, Patriot Games to name 3) it's usually as terrorists. I don't understand why they're so butthurt.

^^ Hence the amusement. Course I totally don't buy that the twins were "vampires" or anything of the sort. But they were the best part of that movie so I don't know why they are complaining in the first place.

Yeah, kinda like how I don't mind as much that all of the Irish in The Devil's Own are terrorists. It's made better by the fact that the leader is played by Brad Pitt. That dude's awesome.
