*EDIT* The above doesn't PROVE God exists. But indeed I think, following rationality, its pretty safe to say He does. You also cant PROVE gravity exists. But I'm gonna go ahead and believe it does. And nice false analogy. There is ample evidence to support the claim of gravity, there is zero evidence in a God which can do whatever the f**k it wants. Saying there's an eternal God which doesn't have to follow logic is simply an extraordinary claim, and you have no extraordinary evidence. You're saying that nothing can exist without something, and that something must be a God because God is the only thing which can contradict logic, God is the only thing which has been eternal. It's asinine. Faith cannot be logical when it is used to predict a supernatural entity.

Never ONCE did I say God contradicts logic. Thats a lie to say He does. I'de call it blasphemy. I'de say God is the most logical thing we could ever talk about/think of.
I said God contradicts the laws of our universe. Heck, He MADE them, why should He need follow them?

Why dont we just talk about philosophers instead? Because then it'd basically turn into a "LET'S FELLATE CS LEWIS" thread. Christians love to suck his dick even though he's pretty insignificant (just don't tell them).

I am just going to say it, I'm proud of Brent for defending himself reasonably when we all seem to gang up on him on these boards because most of us are faithful. Can we lock this thread now?

The laws of our universe are merely recorded data. Philosophy is far beyond science. In the words of Atlas Shrugged, I deem thee a "WORSHIPPER OF DEATH". /making a funny.
Why lock the thread. I believe intelligent discussion is occurring. They still have philosophy classes in college. Why not keep the subject on the forums as well?
