"In this age it has seemingly become more and more detestable to be a Christian. Our opinions on social and political issues are no longer tolerated as valid and we are commonly viewed as the enemy. Subjective truth, self-love, unrestricted perversion, the destruction of morality: these are the things that have ultimately brought us to a place of depression and madness"

Time to post another good quote
George Carlin:
* Here's some bumper stickers I'd like to see: We are the proud parents of a child whose self esteem is sufficient that he doesn't need us promoting his minor scholastic achievements on the back of our car. We are the proud parents of a child who has resisted his teachers' attempts to break his spirit and bend him to the will of his corporate masters. We have a daughter in public school who hasn't been knocked up yet. We have a son in public school who hasn't shot any of his classmates yet. But he does sell drugs to your honor student. Plus he knocked up your daughter.

Those were the days of depression and madness, this current age we live in is technological, but still fueled by f**king dumb traditions and blind faith. While technology is good it is also bad in a way, however, with science comes improvements to our daily lives. If anyone wants to know who said the quote I will tell. Shiv knows lol

Shiv knows lol Blaming witch-burnings on Christianity and Judaism is totally unfair and reveals extreme ignorance. Witch-burnings, human sacrifice, and other ludicrous bullcrap has predated both organized Christianity and Judaism and appeared in literally ALL human cultures. It's a human thing. People look for scapegoats to blame their problems on. Instead of burning witches, Atheists just look to Theists and attempt to blame them for everything, hence the witchcraft accusations. Religion makes everybody crazy and violent and makes them do stupid immoral things, ergo the violence in humanity (although predating organized religion) is a by-product of religion. Burn the priest! He will destroy our great society with his wicked ways!

Nice strawman Azrael, yet another theist putting words in my mouth Strawman accusation is a strawman. Learn your logical fallacies before you attempt to use them. My lampooning of your tremendously hypocritical position stands no matter how much you choose to whine about it. By implying that the days of "blind faith" were the immoral days contrasted with today, you open yourself up to confrontation with the fact that "blind faith" was not the true root of the acts you claim to despise. It was human nature.
