You're foolish and romantic
okay, seriously, I do consider myself a Christian anarchist along with my brother and one of his good friends from college, I also have two close friends who if they don't out right consider themselves anarchist(not Christian however) they at least straddle the line.
It is important to note the subtle differences between the terms anarchy and anarchism, anarchy is to mean the complete lack of authority, anarchism covers a broader set of ideologies which can even under the umbrella term of anarchism conflict with each other. The leading schools of thought in anarchism can split into four categories(for the most part):
Mutualism: more like a friendlier version of socialism, where each individual does what and only what they choose, never infringing on the right of others to do the same where in any structured situation there is no central authority
Individualist anarchism: sort of a cover all term and can be broken down even further into even smaller ideologies. Essentially the right of individuals to exercise their rights over external determinants
Social anarchism: the largest school of anarchist thought. Less focused on private property and individual freedom than individualism. Social anarchism focuses more on cooperation and mutual aid. Seeing private property as a detriment as it encourages social ineaquality(much of this lines up with the standard Christian Anarchist)
and Post-Classical(Contemporary anarchism): this can refer to many of the different philosophies that borrow from other concepts to create a unique view of anarchism. Post-anarchism strives to combine many traditional elements of anarchism with poststructuralism(similar to postmodern, but more scrutinizing)
I personally find myself somewhere between post-anarchism and Christian Social-Anarchism. Ideally I would like to see a perfectly autonomous society where no one was focused on personal wealth and well being but more focused on the well being of others, a balanced system of sharing essentially, however the post-structuralist in me finds it hard to commit wholly to my prevailing idealism and take a position that is critical of the state and human condition in response to the given nature of the human race to f**k things up which is why a truly anarchist state is yet to find success outside of a controlled environment

I mean you're saying yourself true anarchism will never work and that it's just your idealism.

Excellent argument! My view is that the state isn't particulary good, but what are you going to do about it? The majority of people want someone to tell them what to do and what not to do because they don't believe in any laws to govern themselves by (which would be the ideal).

How so? I think it comes down to if a person would rather have organized anarchy under a guise of government or disorganized anarchy where everyone does as they wish (instead of just the ruling class).
