said/typed something that came out totally wrong and not at all what you intended? If so, please share; for the amusement of others. A couple of my examples:
I went to a Halloween party, some years ago. My friend Levi came dressed as...well, I'm not sure. A psychopath? He had a giant, floppy, yellow cowboy hat, those little disguise glasses (with the fake nose and mustache attached), and was wearing a pair of blue ducky boxers...on the outside of his pants. These boxers, by the way, had been worn by three different people already...and they wore them on the inside. Which is what made it disgusting that that happened to be where he decided to store his phone...on the outside of his pants, inside the boxers. Anyway, my cousin Janaun needed a phone, and he lent her his (whilst I'm thinking, "Ew. I would find someone who did not keep their phone inside a pair of used boxers").
Right, so, that's how I saw his phone. Ok, then the next day, I was at lunch with my parents and my (now in-laws; however this was before my husband even moved out here to live with them). The restaurant had a TV in the dining area, which I was watching just out of boredom. A commercial came on for the exact phone that Levi had. Without thinking, I just blurted, "Hey, that's the kind of phone Levi had in his boxers last night." You can imagine the looks I got from everyone at the table. XD
Next example:
Yesterday, I was just looking at the news article clips on the MSN homepage; having just logged out of my email. They had one of celebritys' worst fashion blunders, and they had a picture of some shoes that Lady Gaga wore (they are THE WEIRDEST shoes you've ever seen...imagine high heels...with the heels on the TOES of the shoes). Anyway, when I saw that, I immediately thought of my sister-in-law, because she's really into fashion and I knew she'd really get a kick out of that. So, I saved the picture to send to her, and, without thinking, just entitled it Gaga's Shoes. That's what it looked like in my mind; and how I intended it. However, when I typed it; as I was just naming a file, I typed it all in one word, with no punctuation. Now, for those of you who have a hard time envisioning what Gaga's Shoes looks like put together, it's something like this: gagasshoes. Which, as you can see, could be separated out into something COMPLETELY different.
So. Anyone else care to share their stories?
