Whoa, I thought it might mean Jason as in Jason Sherlock. But then realised his name is Jayson Sherlock. Didn't realise BTA had a Jason though!

I think Seth is more the Elegy type and Jason is the Endure type, maybe... Wouldn't you think more people would post on the BTA forums about BTA news? Yeah davo, it's really busy around here. :/ Jason also wrote "Ransom" - the more heavy ones should we expect from him and the more melodic ones from Seth. Daniel comes from a Deathcore background so maybe his songs are br000tal ;D Just kidding

Daniel comes from a Deathcore background so maybe his songs are br000tal ;D Just kidding Here is a good guide... Seth's songs will tend to be more melodic. However, as it stands right now, Seth song #1 is probably the most brutal song we are working on. Daniel's songs will tend to be more technical and proggy. He is an outrageously good guitar player (probably better than Alex or Jon) and has a flare for the faster and more complex stuff. My (Jason) songs are more straight forward and rhythmic. The best example of this is Ransom. That is one of the only songs on a BTA record so far where 95% of the riffs came right out of my head. This time around a lot of the riffs are coming out of my head. I, of course, am excited about this. haha. Duck has also been working on a song this time around. Anything he writes will probably tend to be more rhythmic like my stuff. (Duh, he is a drummer) Anyway...with all of that said...we are working out songs together as a live band this time around. So anything goes. No one person will really have a song that comes out sounding exactly the way that they would have done it on their own. We haven't done that since 2003-04 when we were writing for Terminate Damnation. So far it is working out really well and we are stoked!

Uh yeah babe, exciting news! ;D Cool to here something from the source itself. Thanks Jason Any plans about the producer, the lyrical theme and an estimated release date (just a hint like already this year or first in 2011)?

Thanks Jason Any plans about the producer, the lyrical theme and an estimated release date (just a hint: already this year or first in 2011)? Looks like we are going to be recording with Matt Goldman here in Atlanta. You are hearing that here first so if something changes then don't go crazy, but that should be a lock. We are set up to record in October which puts us looking at a release sometime early next year. Goldman is amazing. I know that saying he recorded the last four Underoath records may not mean much to some BTA fans, but as far as quality goes and killer production it is top notch. Beyond that, he is very open to experimenting and that is what we are looking for. Recording close to home will also give us a little more freedom to work stuff out. Yep. Now you know what I know. ;D No ideas yet on album titles or anything like that. Just hang on and we will let you know. I promise.

I would like my face to be melted. I would like to have the album right now - I'm impatient if it comes to music from BTA ;D Goldman is also the producer who made the last The Chariot albums, isn't it!? - yep, I've checked it, he produced The Fiancée and Wars and Rumors of Wars. Don't know the last Underoath album but Define the Great Line was except of the clean parts very nice (but thats nothing Goldman is guilty of Wish you the best guys - make whatever you want, the last 3 albums showed that this works the best ah btw jasons guide makes me jump around and be happy about another album of diverse songs - hopefully even with a tempo variety between the songs like in TPOF ;D (to express one wish and despite what I said before ^^)
