The Physics of Fire hands down. Dichotomy was good too. Terminate Damnation is too metalcore-ish for me.

the physics of fire was my favorite for a long time. it was my first of theirs. i really appreciate alex' singing, though i know some who don't. since i got terminate damnation a year or two ago, though, its heaviness has grown on me, and now i don't know which of the first i think is best, though i prefer them both over dichotomy. i remember reading in jason's interview with hm mag where he said something to the effect that they put a lot of effort into being original on the first two, but with dichotomy, they just strove to write good songs. the same sentiment seems reflected in his latest blog. but i still prefer td and tpof, though i really look forward to cc.

Terminate Damnation well above the others. I really dig Dicotomy, but I much perfer the sheer weight and depth of TD. Easily one of the top metal albums of all time in my books, a masterpiece in every aspect.

Terminate Damnation. there's just something unique about Jason's voice that you never hear in the other albums (for example that deep guteral-ish voice he uses in one man parade).
not only do i love this album the most because of the singing, but everytime my family and i drive through CA's coastal redwood forests, there's something about the scenery and the music that fit perfectly together which, to me, makes camping an ever greater experience

The vocals and the heaviness of that album always get me!

td certainly boasted a heaviness that i wish i could hear from them again. but one of the things i found on tpof was how the how album fit together conceptually. the fire/power of god thing was cool.

Yeah I agree. While TD is my favorite, I've liked the albums that followed for all sorts of different reasons. It's cool that BTA can pull of a different sounding and unique album every time they do one.

I'd have to say Terminate Damnation and Dichotomy come in close to each other, and The Physics of Fire is just my favourite over all.
