What colour TD did you get? I was considering getting all three, but I can't justify spending NZ$85 on the lot when I'm a poor student. Especially when I'm looking at buying a car as well.

i went for the black - from my experience, generally the opaque marble pressings aren't on proper vinyl and don't sound as good.

problem is that I don't have a clue about vinyl players so I don't know where to start ^^ The Pro-Ject ones are pretty good, i think their basic one should be around €200 (they're Austrian and their factory's in the Czech Republic), then you'd need an amp and speakers - find a local hifi dealer to you and ask their advice - expect to spend around €500 for a setup based on this deck. It'll be well worth it. Anyway, vinyl is awesome, and I can't wait to see a 12" by 12" version of the TD artwork.

Yeah, I love the big artwork, particularly my brother's Fat Freddy's Drop looks so much cooler big. Terminate Damnation is going to look awesome though. There's something nostalgic and awesome about watching the disk spinning round. I'm looking at building myself some speaker boxes for our stereo and putting reasonable drivers in them. At the moment all we've got is ones stolen off my parents old stereo.

there's nothing nostalgic about it for me - i just think it sounds much better than CD.

Here's the deal: if you guys can buy up pretty much all the copies of Terminate Damnation, we can likely convince the guy at Broken Circles to do a run of one of our other albums. But if he's left with a bunch of copies on hand, he doesn't have much incentive to lose money on another record of ours, does he? I think almost 200 of the 500 pressing are already sold (or pre-sold), so things are going good. But we need at least 400 of those to be sold for him to seriously consider pressing Dichotomy or Celestial Completion. Or a Necrotizing Fasciitis single...

I got an orange one. I also had to take advantage of getting Zao's Liberate as well. Man...I didn't think I'd become a vinyl junkie.
