Guys, I just wanted to tell you about the new Showbread album. If you don't have it, I would definitely suggest at least sampling it at your nearest Family Christian Store or Lifeway. Song number 12 on there is amazing. I haven't listened to it yet without crying. They're a really neat band and seem to have a heart for worshipping Jesus. By the way, they're playing tomorrow (Friday) at the place where the Greenhouse used to be (atlantashows.org). If you live in the U.S.A. area, you should probably try to make it because it'll be inexpensive and fun. Adios

The first time I saw them, I wasn't impressed. Maybe it's the chaoticness or something but it was just a little too much for me. The last time I saw them though, I enjoyed them much more.

HOLEY CAJOLEY... seriously an overlooked band. They get my vote for the most innovative/creative/inspired album of 2004! EASILY!
They are a force to be reckoned with onstage too. Best band I've EVER seen next to Norma Jean live. They are pure fun and chaos.
Its so crazy that their ablum is so spazzy... yet has so much worship in it. I love it to itty bitty pieces including my toes. AND it has a song about the evil dead movies... extra bonus cool points.

I have the cd, but I wasn't blown away by it. I haven't really been into hardcore lately. A few tracks are really good though.

I'm not too particular for hardcore bands, but I do have a few that I really like. Showbread's awesome, I remember the first show I saw them play at. It was my first Shma ever (I met Alan at the next one hahaha) and, although I was sick with some respiratory thing, I enjoyed myself immensely.

They have come to the Shma 3 different times. They aren't bad, but I think there is just too much to take in with their shows.

Can't wait to see you guys play with them March 3rd. It'll be good to see all of you guys again. Wisdom, you asked me about the Symphony in Peril show, I think it fell through. Oh well. Just thought I'd let you know.

Hopefully I'll be seeing them at the Greenhouse show. I'm not really sure, though.

When I saw Showbread on the Young Bloods Tour, they were giving away free merch. Well, almost. They had a bb gun, and you could take any sticker or button if you let them shoot you. And before the show, they offered to give away a CD if you got shot. I thought they were joking, so I didn't get shot.... Unfortunately. I love Showbread. I first got into them several years ago, back when they were virtually unkown to the entire world. I liked their sound, and their lyrics and heart for God intrigued me and was much appreciated. I wanted to hear more. And then came "No Sir, Nihilism Is Not Practicle," and I fell in love with their sound. Awesome band, aweseom guys. God bless! ~EvadingShadows
