its pretty sad... When my youth group started talking about it I felt pretty bad for them all. We were talking about how most of them are probably in hell. Thats really sad. Ok, I'm not trying to insult your beliefs, but honestly in most religions their God is a loving god, similar to the one in Christianity. I find it hard to believe that people choose to condemn someone before they even fully understand them. Almost every religion says that they're the one true one, and I think the "Christian" thing to do would be not to judge your fellow humans and treat each other like you would want to be treated. That's just my opinion. Sorry if I offended anyone.

I can see where you are coming from. And it's nice to have a conversation where no one is bashing anyone hard for their beliefs.

I can see where you are coming from. And it's nice to have a conversation where no one is bashing anyone hard for their beliefs. Yeah I agree. I'm very tolerant of other religions. But one of my biggest peeves (and there's a girl at my school that does this) is when people carry on and on about their beliefs, but when you try to explain yours, they won't give you the time of day. So I love it that there are people willing to see both sides without condemnation of any kind. I don't see how anyone can get offended by you sharing your views.

I don't think that believing that if you say you are a Christian, and thousands of buddhists, hinduists, muslims (the religions of indonesia) died and are spending eternity in hell qualifies as condemnation. Why? Because you just condemned the Christian for THEIR beliefs.
As a matter of fact, as a Christian, I believe that anyone who does not have Christ in their life upon physical death will experience spiritual death as well... or as we call it "hell", which means eternal separation from God.
Do I expect that to be offensive? Yes. It should. All humankind naturally hates the idea that there is a God over them, and we will be accountable to Him. Does that mean I'm not loving and condemning people? No. Its the truth of Scripture. Thats why I invest my life to love on people and share the gospel with them... so that when their time comes, they are ready. For me NOT to believe that a non-believer was in hell means I'm denying my own beliefs... and thats just silly!

right on justincredible! if they were not Christians then you would be denying your own beliefs if you said that they weren't in hell....accept Christ=heaven, reject Christ=hell, very simple, to say that everyone is right about God in their own way is quite ridiculous, there has to be an absolute truth, and as pompous as it might sound, a true Christian has the right answer
