Spoken
Sullivan
The New Ending
North of OK
So yea, this tour recently came through here. The only bands I knew about were Spoken and Sullivan, but not many tours come through here, so of course I was going to go. Anyways, the show had it's ups and downs. The show started out with TruthSeekah, a local rapper who actually booked the show and is also a good friend of mine. He always puts on an energetic live show no matter what. Next was North of OK. Pretty decent indie/emo type stuff. They started out with a beautiful instrumental. About 2 songs into their show the power went out. Luckily, it came back on and they finished their set. Next was The New Ending. These guys were insane! Such an energetic live show and was the best band yet, however the power kept going out during their set and after about the 4th try they gave up. Sullivan no-showed for some unexplained reason, so next up was supposed to be Spoken. The vocalist Matt Baird was orginally going to call off the set because the power would have screwed up their speakers, but came up with the idea of doing their entire set acoustic. It was awesome. It was so cool because the band didn't just play their songs, but interacted with the crowd and it was just like a group of friends getting together. They even played a couple of their older songs from The Echoes of The Spirit Still Dwell which made me happy. Overall, the concert was awesome and I give a lot of respect to Spoken for playing even when they could have chose not to.
TruthSeekah
The lead vocalist of North of OK playing his guitar with his teeth. Awesomeness.
The vocalist for The New Ending
2/5 of Spoken playing their acoustic set.
Me and Matt Baird, the lead singer for Spoken.
