Yeah man, these illegal immigrants are running your Wal-Marts and sweatshops. The illegal immigrants who first colonized this continent were spreading infectious diseases to the natives and wrecking the land. Hm...

I am for some kind of a law where you have to show proof of residency before getting a job.

Doesn't that sort of trap homeless people where they are, so they have absolutely no hope of ever getting a residence?

Doesn't that sort of trap homeless people where they are, so they have absolutely no hope of ever getting a residence? Yeah, because homeless people have such an easy road back into society now. We'd hate to give them the kind of kick in the nuts that would make homelessness systemic, and a real problem. (edit: this could sound like I'm making fun of you. I'm not. When you read it, have the voice in head be light hearted and joking, thats how its meant) Don't you need a SIN card to get a job in the US? You do in Canada. Even at that, those laws won't work. Its not as though the American employers are being fooled into hiring illegal immigrants. The hire them because these are people without rights who can be treated almost as slaves and if they give you trouble you can call them in and they get deported. The problem is not Mexicans, the problem is Americans. If you didn't hire them, they wouldn't be there. Plain and simple.

I think we should jump the border to mexico! That's part of the problem...... nobody wants to live there! That's why my plan to fix it will help reduce illegal immigration. I want to live in Mexico.... I want to get rich fast with 20 million...THen go live middle class on a Mexican beach ding nothing for the rest of my life except preaching Jesus to the locals.... And if that ever happens, somebody slap me...

Although I think America should take advice from Europe and start a guest worker problem, although Europe did make a few mistakes with that that America should also learn from.

no illegal immigration. that's the way of it. if mexico is so sad they don't want to stay, yell at spain and portagual. if america is so sad they may yell at great britian. in addition, it is sad, but if immagrent mexican parents want to do a misrable job raising their kids, it must be done in mexico in my limited experence living on the west coast this is truth, and it is no good.

I say we go with the guest worker program. it means better economy for the US, and alot less pissed off citizens here.

people/immigrants aren't illegal. Crossing a border without any reason to be an American except except to get a job...is ridiculous. I understand there are jobs current citizens are not willing to do, especially not for minimum wage. All I know is here in Arizona most immigrants are not documented, steal identities, do not even get paid minimum wage, and other sh*t.
