Anyone going to this show? If we can get a group together, that would be cool.

I dunno, they might not allow photography. At least every concert I've been to they haven't allowed it. I'll have to call and ask. Edit: Just called The Pound earlier ... they said it depends on the band, but I would "most likely" be able to take still pictures, just not video. I should be able to snap some pics for you guys. It would be really cool if BTA would let me take a pic with them.

Strange, Ezekiel ... I don't see a show listed on this website for sac. Hope your show is cool, I'm sure the one here in SF will be.

Ahh, just got back from the show, my ears are still ringing! My friend Tim and I met up with his friend Alana who lived nearby and she joined us for the show.
It was the first time I'd been to The Pound, very tiny venue like my local Phoenix Theater. The crowd wasn't too big, but it didn't matter, there was plenty of energy. BTA played first ... I think they shoulda been the headliners! I can't remember exactly all the songs they played, but I know they did play Elegy. 8)
Scarlet apologized "for their appearance" because their bassist had some kind of little stroke and has been in the hospital for a while. Nodes of Ranvier were cool-- this was the first time I'd ever heard them at all. Tons of energy on stage, and I liked the dueling screams from the drummer and lead singer. Scarlet sounded like a generic hardcore band, nothing too special.
Apparently Agony Scene, the headliners (boo!) were a Christian band at some point, but aren't anymore. That was pretty clear by how many times he said F*@$ between the songs. Pretty unnecessary. BTA and nodes were definately the superior bands of the night.
I got a few good pics of the bands up on stage, and Jason was more than happy to join us for a photo op. The band also signed a poster for me and sold me a $15 shirt for $10! How cool is that?!!
Great show, and they said they'd be back sometime in January. Will definately stay posted. I'll post up the pics tomorrow, time to hit the hay.
