News about this appeared a few weeks ago: www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24306434/The article I think focuses on the IAEA's response to Israel and the United States, but at least as equally important I think is the implication of Syria possibly having developed its nuclear program. Obviously its a volatile region in this world, and the government of Syria is known to endorse and support various terrorist organizations. Although I guess it doesn't really matter right now, since Israel bombed the crap out of it. Ha ha ha.... honestly, that's very lucky for us, I think. I'm sure part of the reason that the US government didn't divulge any information of the site was because they didn't know how to react to it. Obviously we would've wanted it shut down, but we couldn't simply blow it up, and to approach Syria harshly about the reactor would probably garner further criticism, of the government, given its currently low reputation as the nation who cried (cries) wolf on Iraq and Iran. Thanks, Israel! Problem solved. Other thoughts? Ideas? Concerns? Jokes?
