This gets the Ferd Berfel Album of the Year award.
I have never been so pumped on adrenaline from a musical album before. It was beautiful, it was heavy, and it made me want to smash things with my bare hands until I collapsed from exhaustion.
It made me grow a beard, and it made my beard hairs grow beards of their own.
It made me start a one-man mosh pit in the middle of my house at midnight. Someone got punched in the face, and then everyone jumped in and started pushing everyone else. Blood and testosterone ran like water over Niagra falls.
Playing this album made my speakers gain thirty pounds. The sheer weight gain from uploading it to my iTunes caused my entire desk to collapse and a crater was formed in my bedroom. The hole was so deep that it penetrated all the way to the center of the earth, and scientists have now discovered exactly what is down there. Turn out, it's not an iron core - it's just Chuck Norris spinning really fast.
I brought a friend with cancer over to my house, and showed him the album cover. BAM. His tumor was completely annhilated. When I played the album on my surround sound system, everyone within a ten mile radius was given superhuman powers for three hours. My house has now drawn its own crowd of cult worshipers that come here to be cured from disease and dismemberment.

*Looks at Ferd in the same way that a proud father would gaze upon his son after graduating West Point*

Another thing I will note is just how mature BTA has become with expressing their faith and how passionate Jason is in this album...I remember listening to Evil Unseen, I haven't even read the lyrics, but I could fully understand what he was saying when he was talking about trading faith for rational thought..It was quite intense

Yep. the lyrics are the most time clear understandable - but the ones on TD were more brutal ^^ Nevertheless they really fit into the new record, so it's nice.

oh my! if this album doesn't get noticed there's something wrong w/ the world. Very impressive lyric writing Wisdom. Hats off to you. (and bta as a whole) album sounds amazing.
it made me bang my head and smile at the same time - that's a characteristic of great music.

My pre-order still hasn't arrived yet.
I know it has to make it across an ocean but I'm going a little stir crazy here with out it.

oh get your mind off elegy already. if you ask me i would say i think elegy was too repetitive. i'm not say its not good. in fact i think its really good. but my favorite song by them? definitely not so. you're kidding right? the only thing that Elegy repeats is part 0:52 and 10:26. those are the only parts they repeat. anyway imo Dichotomy is the best album of the year! its a super metalz album and br00tals! I can see why Mountains of Souls is one of his favorite songs. the part right before the singing starts until the end blew me away. This morning when i was listening to MoS i could feel His presence as i was walking to the bus stop. same with Self-Existent and End of the Age. Now that's something that most metal songs don't do when i listen to them. I can seriously worship to this song/album. And Ransom is the most awesomest song ever. "My hands have taught me terrible things, His hands have SET ME FREE!" definitely my favorite part of the song. love the intro to the song too. Evil Unseen is pretty dark. which i like. and its heavy too. from what i hear the lyrics are really good. End of the Age was awesome! Its one of my favorites! I love the beginning theme and the keyboard part. Ah! The keys are so awesome. The only thing is that I wish that Seth would of recorded the keyboard parts on an acoustic piano. It would been like a thousand times better on an acoustic piano. I was disappointed in Aslan's "line". I don't know what i was expecting though. I'm not saying it's a bad thing but......there was quite a lot of piano parts in this album. But i do love piano. I still need to analyze all the keyboard parts though. And i wish that Dichotomy was a little bit longer. When i saw how long the songs where for the album i was like awww..... but this album was very well put together! musicly and lyricly. This my favorite album of all time! i love how there is sweep picking in this album. I will listen to this album like a billion more times!!!!!!! keep writing awesome and brutal music BTA!!!

The vocals at the beginning of "End of the Age" kinda remind me of a Zao/BTA hybrid.
