I am not totally into it, like I take a lot of photos and stuff.. but not professionally. But mainly I like nature shots, and I am a black and white person. I am good with that. I will post some shots on here soon. I promise.

Totally took an awesome picture of a hedgehog the other night. Really proud of that one. Chris

Not really. I don't really advertise most of my shots. I'm not great at selling stuff and don't really know where to sell it anyway.
However, I have been doing some paid commercial and event reportage stuff.

Depends what I'm shooting. Most of my landscapes have been shot on a Pentax 67 medium format camera on Fuji film. But I don't have access to one anymore so I haven't done any proper landscape work in a while.
My gig photography is shot digitally. I use a Canon EOS 5D MkII now with a couple of L lenses and a nifty fifty. However, up until April this year I shot with a EOS 20D, so the bulk of my work was shot on that.
I also use the 5DII for my commercial stuff.

Hmm, the nifty fifty is a good lens, small, fast, light. Build quality is pretty bad though and the bokeh isn't great.
The 24-70mm f2.8L USM is probably my most often used lens as it is so versatile. And my 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM just lovely. Sharp, fast, decently long & good image stabilisation so good for video work.
I think may favourite is the 24-70mm though.
I have my eye on the new 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro lens. It looks amazing and I think that would definitely be my favourite if I bought it. The 135mm f/2L USM is also a fantastic lens. I want that one too!

Chris Yeah, build quality on 50mm (especially the f1.8 models) isn't too great, but I don't mind the bokeh from the Nikon 50mm f1.8 (but it's a lot better from my 70-200mm f2.8 VR). I used to have a 28-70 which was a great lens, but I just never found myself using it for much (a few landscape shots here and there). I've heard rave reviews about the 135mm from both sides, but it's not in the budget for me right now. How do you like full-frame? I love it!

135mm isn't as insanely expensive as some of the other lenses I'd like (meaning it is under £1000) and I hear it is bitingly sharp throughout and great in low light. I don't have any budget for lenses right now as I only recently got the 70-200mm but I think the 100mm L Macro is next and then maybe the 135mm.
Yeah, I love full frame. It has been a huge advantage and I haven't really noticed any of the "disadvantages" that some people complain about. Apart from obviously the price. But I had already come the the decision that if I were going to buy new equipment there was not point in spending money on bad equipment, so I was expecting the cost and searched hard to get a good deal.
Before I upgraded I very nearly switched to Nikon from Canon. I was mostly going to upgrade almost all my gear (only keeping the nifty fifty and a flashgun while selling off the rest), so it wouldn't have been a huge leap to go to Nikon. The main reason was that I was getting frustrated with Canon's lack of good quality at high ISO. Luckily the 5DMkII made good leaps forward in this area so I decided not to change. Mainly just because I used to working with Canon systems and I know them inside out. However, I think the D700 & D3 are fantastic cameras and if I had gone for one of those instead of a Canon I am sure that after relearning the system I would have been equally happy.
