so I actually wrote it down. I was mass stoned about three hours before going to bed and dreaming this, so it might have something to do with it. Anyway, enjoy.
-------------------------------------------------
I am a thousand feet above the water and they spare me nothing. The shards of paper thin glass shoot through me and i scream in agonizing pain. Panic overwhelms my mind as I look for escape, but the bridge is almost out of sight. I cannot count their number for their movements are terrible swift and subtle. Under cloaks they fly across the sky, their shards are the size of icicles. Everything hurts but there is no blood. The pain is indescribable. Tears stream down my face and I know I am doomed. Suddenly forming all around me I am surrounded and I await death but one of them hands me small shard of glass of violet shade and smooth texture. Its shape is of a crescent moon but with edges less refined. It almost appears to be an ear piece. I am instructed to give it to her. You must never see her again they say in unison. This gift we have given to you shall be a promise. She will never forget you, even in your eternal absence, and the pain you felt by the shards shall be removed from her heart. She will no longer feel the suffering of the past, and the void in her mind and heart shall be filled. I ask no questions but immediately everything becomes clear. I close my eyes and awaken in a large field. There is no moon but the light comes from the many stars stuck in the sky. I turn my head and see her approaching from a short distance. At this point I realize I no longer need the stars for light. The shard grows warm in the clutches of my hand. As we converge we embrace, and she kisses me. I see the sunlight peaking its face over the horizon. I imagine the sunlight as a wave, or an explosion that approaches us. We are overtaken in seconds. The shard still lays in my grasp. I no longer know what is right. The truth massacred by dogs. Wayne and the joker one and the same. My mind swirls in darkness. Images of death laid out. The blood in the water, the predator finds its prey. What is there left to say? I drop the shard to the floor. I don't know what is right anymore.
