I agree to some point, but also immediately thought of this: "You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY'; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." (Matthew 5:27,28) QFE A man needn't act on his evil nature to still earn his reward in Hell. He merely must possess it.

So are you saying that if a Christian has a pull towards doing some evil, then he/she is damned? Would you say the mere fact that the man had a passing desire for his mother to die means he doesn't have salvation? If I understand correctly, that would be a manifestation of a sinful nature.

It's a manifestation of our human nature. To continue under the delusion that we needn't repent or receive forgiveness for such things is to place one foot firmly in hell.

No one was saying that he need not repent. There are Christians who struggle with things like anger, alcoholism, gluttony, sexual perversion, etc.. Remember Christ was friends with sinners and tax collectors. Everyone struggles with sin, and if you think someone is damned because of their struggle, you do not understand the grace of God. End of issue.
