Oh gosh that was one of the most depressing movies! I had really high expectations because it was directed by John Hillcoat (The Proposition - in my opinion one of the best movies to come out in recent years). That was a very well done movie I thought but was just too repetitive/depressing for my tastes...

Just saw True Grit. Good storyline and great acting. Had a lot more humor than I expected.

Kick Ass was pretty good, the dad and daughter were awesome.

I LOVED Kick Ass. A sequel is in the works (of course) - hopefully it'll be good. I believe it's the same director which should help.

The first one was alright. I'm glad Guy Ritchie is directing the sequel as well though he definitely seems to be past his prime. "Lock, Stock..." and "Snatch" are definitely way better than anything he's put out in recent years...
"Somewhere" just came out which I think looks pretty good. I might get a chance to see it this weekend. Not a whole lot else coming out soon besides "Drive Angry 3D" and that "Rubber" movie haha.

I couldn't get into that movie. But speaking of flicks The Matrix ripped off, have you seen Dark City? It's really quite good me thinks. Though if you haven't seen it, definitely watch the director's cut because it is much better than the theatrical version.
