Wow, the SAT sucked. I just got done taking it today. All i can say is it was really hard(or at least i thought so, don't make me feel stupid, lol) and i wish i would have studied more with the study guide my mom bought me... but I'll probably just be retaking it so, its ok. So anyways, has anyone taken it yet?-this summer? or whenever? what'd you guys think?  |

yeah i did....4 years ago.
eh i dont remember my score,nor do i care.
another incident in life where your teachers harp that the SAT is your bloodline to get into a college.Btw,you dont need Geometry in practical life...I know,I know...this may come a shock.But learn how to balance a check book and have a budget,and pay bills and eat...thats what they should be teaching you.
my parents put me through some course after school with a workbook,i suck at tests...and all it really does is test people who are great at test taking.I suck at tests (i actually took tests to prove i dont take tests well),so the SATs defeat the purpose for me.

The night before my SAT's, you know what I did? Got myself drunk. Yes. You read that right. I drank about 8 beers down like water. Plus a couple swigs of vodka. The next morning, I was not in any shape to take an SAT. My score was horrible. Probably why I never did college, nor do I want to.

HAHAHAHA smart man. i mean if you aspire to go to Harvard yeah kill yourself taking them...but honestly,I didnt have the greatest score and what looks good was that I was involved in every club known to man and I was Senior Class VP,grant it I opted to go to community college...BAD IDEA. Go to College I cannot stress this enough...haha. |

I took the old SAT and scored a 1260 without studying, but I've always done decently on standardized tests. I've heard the new one is tougher from some people, though.

I took the old one last year and got a 1380. Testing has always been natural for me.

So, i got my score back like a week ago and i got a 1540. I think thats pretty good... looks like it'll get me into some of the colleges i've been looking at going to... but i might retake it later this year... i think its pretty retarded how it costs money though...

I considered taking the SAT, but then when I looked at all the colleges I was going to apply to, I figured why waste my time and money taking the SAT when all I needed to take was my ACT. I was rather proud of my ACT, I scored a 28.
But now I think I might just take the SAT to see how I do on it.
