Hey y'all! (1) Mostly I'm curious of y'alls thoughts on this album. It's really been growing on me lately. I really enjoy it. In fact, I decided to go ahead and buy their other albums so I can catch up too! (2) What do y'all think about the song "Nonsense Mediated Decay"? It's very strange. It's pretty much about an alien abduction and then it has some random stuff towards the end and metal mixed in here and there. I discovered this is where that phrase on the back of my shirt that I have from them comes from. "We spiral nowhere, we spiral everywhere (7:36ish)." EDIT: This is the song I'm talking about. It's just weird. lol. www.youtube.com/watch?v=elu4FXjhJSgMost of the lyrics on this album go over my head. I should probably read back through them. I remember them being pretty abstract though. Anyway, good stuff! ;D

This was a great comeback album for Believer. It still has the Believer sound, but it's also refreshingly new. I am very eager for their next release. I would really like to see them perform too, but I'm not sure if they are much for extensive touring.

Agreed man. It's a really good follow up from what I've heard. I'm excited for their next one too!
Yeah it sounds like they may be too planted to tour much if at all. But like, it'd be really awesome if they did!

I heard 3 songs from the album and they were alright. Believer certainly are one of the better thrash bands to be labeled as Christian.

Their new album is available for pre-order through DMD. I'm not really a big thrash guy but these folks are pretty cool - I may have to get their CDs one of these days...

My friend's cousin and I have been emailing back and forth and she asked me to give her some good Christian metal recommendations. She likes old-school Metallica and Megadeth so I gave her a massive list of metal. She totally loved BTA and Believer and said she'll be getting some Believer very soon!
Yeah, some Believer may be next on my list... Along with the new Les Discrets, Alcest (re-release of their MCD), Njiqahdda, Vintersorg, and probably some others I can't think of...

Pretty solid comeback, but tends to get lost in the shuffle for me. Their new one, Transhuman, is solid as well, but it took a while for me to "get" it. I still don't think it's the best thing they've done, but it's not nearly as crappy as I felt it was on the initial listen.
I'll most likely stick mostly with the first three most often.

I loved Gabriel, it's like it was something totally new for them but it retained their thrash roots. Their new album hasn't really impressed me as much since the thrash roots seem nonexistent in a sense.

Yeah, with the long inactive period, it seems their tastes have changed.
