Does anyone know any instrumental bands? (not metal, or dark though)
Prefferably folk/celtic would be awesome. I can't find anything good. Maybe I should check the neoclassical genre? I don't really know what that is.
I already have a lot of classical music like beethoven/mozart/etc , so not classical stuff like that either.

I don't have either of their albums (which I hope to change soon), though Neun Welten is pretty cool. Think instrumental later-Empyrium. The label Dark Symphonies had a lot of neoclassical stuff on it as I recall, though I think it was darker music... (hence the title haha). My friend likes a lot of folk/celtic stuff though, I'll have to ask him and get back to you on that one!

Mono - Hymn To The Immortal Wind. It's post-rock, and one of my favourite albums ever.

Pelican, Pet Slimmers of the Year (free), Gordon's Tsunami Week (free), The Ocean - Fogdiver, Ben Woods (free), Cloudkicker (free), Ender (free), RQTN (free) ... mostly Post-Rock... Ben Woods is some atmospheric classical stuff. check all of them out because it's free and they deserve it

I might have to check the rest of that out though. Nothing like free music

I listened to Neun Welten and Mono so far, really good bands! I also heard Explosions in the Sky (my friend recommened it, its labelled as "post rock").

Maybe? You could teach me if you know any. Uhmmm do you want like a list of names which you can look up, or you want me to teach you about the various different styles of the 20th century? I'll just start out with a random example... This guy is associated with impressionism: (oh btw this piece is kinda long so somebody needed 4 youtube videos to cover it all)
