Does anyone know any good albums with choirs in them? I heard my brother briefly listen to some choir when I was going to sleep and it sounded awesome, but I'm scared to ask him 'cause he's 7 years older than me.

Well, I know a lot of people that like Eric Whitacre's choral work. I kinda think he's overrated, but you might wanna check it out if you're into a lot of dissonance, 12 note chords, and junk like that.

I also listened to Stephen Layton: Polyphony - Whitacre: Cloudburst, witch is awesome.

Hmmm do you want music with choirs in it, or do you want choir music?
Here are two random examples of choir music. The first being a piece by a Russian 20th century composer, the latter being a piece by an Italian renaissance composer. (If anybody cares: it's not at all representative of renaissance music)

I sing in this choir. Nice. In my choir we sang a slightly different version of Ubi Caritas as part of a performance of Missa Gaia, earlier this year. We've got a concert next week of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and a recently composed piece by a New Zealand composer, Gareth Farr, called Kaitiaki; it should be good fun. Also in about December, we'll be performing Handel's Messiah again, which will be epic. What part do you sing?

I am first tenor. ;D

Which probably means that you can sing notes in your head voice that I can barely hit in falsetto

Anyway, back to the original post, you should check out the King's Singers. They're a group of six guys, two basses, two tenors and two counter tenors, and they sing some really technically challenging stuff and it's always fantastic.
