Hya , This my first post here and first poll anywhere. I'm sure someone allready started this seaveral times here and at other band forums but I figured why not. I don't mean hard feelings to any of these bands don't get me wrong, I like them all. Just choose which you like to listen to the most, besides Becoming The Archetype. Uhhh, have fun... I guess *waits for responces*

As far as all time, Living Sacrifice, hands down. As far as current, BTA, but that isn't an option, so I guess I'd go with Extol since they made Undeceived.

Extol's Undeceived is the best release ever seen under the tooth and nail/solidstate sun... They get my vote with no hesitation.

DH all the way because I have listed to both of their CDs hundreds of times. I would if it was an option picked Zao they have always been one of my favorit bands. Don't get me wrong I love Extol too. I would have picked Extol but I just have not listened to their new CD alot. Undeceived and everything before it were great but after Undeceived their CDs just have songs I like. Nothing I listen to all the way through alot. LS is amazing too add BTA, Zao and that would be very hard for me to arang. I think it would have to be DH, LS, BTA,Zao, and Extol all tide for first place.
I have a question Figur Four are they a band anymore? I don't think they are so why are they on the list? Beloved is also a dead band so why are they on the list and if they made it why not Living Sacrifice, Training for Utopia, Zao and nemerus other bands that have been on solid state?

As you probably know, Andrew and Jeremy from Figure Four are in Comeback Kid. Essentially, CBK was suppossed to be the side project of Figure Four, but CBK ended up getting a bigger fan base than Figure Four, so there hasn't been much going on with F4 since 03. There as rumors that Figure Four has been canned, though I wouldn't be surprised if it resurfaces in the future. Beloved should be removed from the Solid State list, and they may have only been on there for awhile since most of them probably have to release additional material to free themselves from their T&N/SS contracts. A few members have already moved onto other SS/T&N bands, like Dead Poetic.

Just to let you guys know, Extol is not a Solid State band. They were originally on Endtime Productions and then moved to Century Media records. Solid State just has the rights to distribute their material in the States.

I clicked 'an alumni band' because the band that got me nto metal was Living Sacrifice, and they are, in my opinion the GREATEST Christian metal band to ever play instruments.
BTA is going to be good like LS too. Never really got much into Zao's stuff.

Solid State just has the rights to distribute their material in the States. SS gets the North American Christian market share now. You may still see some Solid State distributed Extol albums in Best Buy, but Century Media now releases Extol into North America as well. In fact, CM one upped SS and re-released the "early" version SS had and they tacked on an additional track that wasn't on the SS version.

As of right now, I am listening to more As Cities Burn then any other band on there. Though as of right now, BTA is my favorite band on SS.

I went with Demon Hunter, they were my first metal/hardcore band, and i really like them. nice, the demo version of Through The Black was what got me introduced to christian metal, any metal at that. i went with Haste The Day though, i saw them a while ago in concert and they were just...amazing.
