Here, I'd say it is wiser to not listen to non-Christian bands because they do have some affect on you. But other then that, I'll pray for you.

Blastbeats is about the best christian metal site ever...though it may be the only one ever... There are quite a few awesome Christian Metal bands: Extol (Black/Death/Thrash Metal) Lengsel (Black Metal) Living Sacrifice (Death Metal) The Showdown (Death Metal) Antestor (Black Metal) Admonish (Black Metal) Frostharder (Black Metal) Mortification (Black Metal) Horde (Black Metal) Divine Symphony (Melodic Death Metal) Poems of Shadows (Black Metal)
All are Christian, avaliable @ blastbeats or amazon, and awesome.

95% Of the music I listen to are christian bands. Really the only reason is because when i listen to music I always catch my self singing it, and sometimes it will even change the way I act. So the only secular music I listen to are from bands that have very clean lyrics. (like Killswitch engage) I'll be sure to pray for you...

Your father, being a pastor, should be able to understand. Though the bands you mentioned aren't christian, it should be fine for you to listen to them to appreciate their talents and for their influence on many genres of music and christian bands. If he doesn't understand that, then the best you can do is learn to live without these bands.

i see both sides. as a parent i dont want my kid to go around singing hell aint no bad place to be or im on a highway to hell.our words are powerful.if you repeat that over and over youll actually believe that.as for led zep. they have some bad lyrics too,but i cant get over the awesome sound they had and the incredibly sloppy but perfect guitar work of page.oh yeah, did you know jimmy page hung out with allister crowley? they were buds! allister---big satanic guy!!! anton la vey too. high "priest" of the satanic/humanist "church" so i know why pastor dad says what he says. he is concerned and rightly so. but old poophead there is going to experience life one way or another!either openly or behind someones back. i personally think that christian metal is more original sounding than alot of that secular stuff.

That's why I mostly listen to Christian music, most of it sounds more original.

Respect your dad. Don't try to find loopholes; just live without the secular bands for now and then when you're out of the house, decide for yourself what's best for your spiritual life.

Personally I listen to both christian and secular music, but you have to draw the line somewhere. I think listening to ac/dc glorify hell and satan is pretty clearly over the line. There are many good secular bands that werent anti-christian and didnt have immoral lyrics. You just have to dig deeper than the mainstream.
