Excellent album... lives up to the Opeth expectation.
(still not quite as good as the old greats like Still Life or MAYH)

Besides the lastest album, I have only listened to Damnation and Blackwater Park, but out of the three, I like this one the best.

I am planning on purchasing this album in the very near future (BTA was on the top priority for me though).

What's it like? More singing than before?

Think Opeth, but more of a Tool vibe (one section on "Ghost of Perdition" is an obvious rip off from Tool's "The Grudge"). They have more singing and instead of just singing during the acoustic periods like past efforts, they blend it in with the heavier stuff, so that's pretty cool.

I really like Blackwater Park. You can get the two disc version from Amazon for $15, I believe. Also, if you just want to enjoy their singing, then get their acoustic album Damnation.

Well the new album is in my top 3 Opeth albums. Definately worth checking out if you really want to know what kind of music Opeth is doing.
They have a video for The Grand Conjuration, but it's not really good. The edit is alright though considering I thought the song is repetitive (worst song on the album)
