It is a little softer. They used to be my favorite band, they moved down to #4 after their new cd, as I'm listening to fewer softer bands. They are pretty cool guys.

i know, their new cd is a little more "blues type" as my friend put it... but idc, i mean, yea the usic might not be as hard, but they are still one of my favorite bands

What are you talking about? Did we buy the same CD? Of Truth And Reconciliation? It is not softer. The melody is just more refined. I think it's actually more aggressive than the older one in many ways. It's more focused, more virulent, more interesting. Sure, it's not as varied, but it is far more indicative of Staple than older releases -- in other words, I think it encapsulates the band. This is the CD that will define future songs and sounds from them. I'm excited about the possibilities. God bless! ~EvadingShadows

I met Staple last year...nice dudes...have to be honest...liked the older stuff better but the new one is pretty neat...i like Circles We Run from the new and...and Do or Die...one thing is for sure about Staple...they are guys with a message and a mission

Yup. I'm Shade on those boards.
