I know that they aren't Metal but I've had the Bull Takes Fighter EP and s/t LP for a few months now and I love 'em. I actually found out about them while I was searching for music for my wife. She puts up with all the Metal for a little while but then starts to complain, especially on long trips. So I was trying to find something a little more mild for her that I would be able to tolerate as well. I've heard that their older stuff is harder?
Anybody else into these guys?

Yeah cjc, my wife has little tolerance for my metal also. But that has caused to somewhat broaden my horizons. I really really love some of Stavesacre's stuff. But most of it is not to my liking. I have not heard the newest album, but I can pick all my favorites and make one very good album. Mostly the older stuff. Great musicianship and great lyrics in some of their stuff...

Are you kidding? You've never heard of Stavesacre until now? What is wrong with you? The lead singer (Mark Saloman) was in a major christian metal band in the late 80's called The Crusified. Ever heard of them. Heck Stavesacre has been on Tooth & Nail for years.

Ahh. Yes. This is a great band. They have a new cd coming out next year on abacus records entitled "how to live with a curse". I currently own Speakeasy and Collection and I really want to get Friction and Absolutes.

Well check them out I figured you were talking about The Crucified and checked them out. I found this www.crucifyd.com/crucified/index.html' It's a pretty cool site and has a few pages dedicated to Beliver attached to it. Do you, or does anybody know where I could find some Crucified CDs. I'd love to here them. Mark Saloman is awesome. What a talented man.
