Flaskavsae CDs arrived yesterday and the Antestor CD shipped. Plus my parents ordered Sawol's and Parakletos' CDs for my birthday which should be cool too. I've only had a chance to listen to a few songs from the Flaskavsae albums but they're mighty good.

Place of Skulls - "The Black is Never Far" Place of Skulls - "With Vision" Sawol - "Through Soil and Skin" Parakletos - "Offerlammets Makt"
The Place of Skulls albums are both really quite good, especially "The Black..." Haven't had a chance to listen to the other two all the way through but the Sawol is solid doom/death in the same vein as Dalit and Parakletos is symphonic black metal, somewhere maybe in between Antestor and Emperor. Good stuff!

My Bloody Valentine's two full-lengths, "Isn't Anything" and "Loveless." Pretty good stuff, though much different than what I usually listen to.

Visited the local record shop. I haven't reported any of my purchases here. Cds are cheap. I buy by look and curiosity. My cd collection went from about 50 to 250 in one year. It's cheaper than crack, and generally less harmful.
Today's purchase
Alexisonfire - S/T Sufjan Stevens - Enjoy Your Rabbit Silverstein - When Broken is Easily Fixed Project 86 - Drawing Black Lines POD - Fundamental Elements of Southtown Juliana Theory - Love Juliana Theory - Emotion is Dead Barenaked Ladies - Stunt NIN - With Teeth Dokken - Erase the Slate NIN - The Downward Spiral Dashboard - So Impossible EP Chiodos - Illuminaudio From First to Last - Heroine We Are the Fallen - Tear the World Down (chick singer. didn't know at time of purchase. we'll see if it sucks) Burden of a Day - OneOneThousand (Andrew Wade record, and I like his work) Darkest Hour - Deliver Us (Produced by Dev. Can't suck) Fates Warning - Perfect Symmetry Dies Irae - Immolated Buckethead - Giant Robot Becoming the Archetype - Celestial Completion (heard it sucks lulz) I actually grabbed it at the register out of the box the chick was unpacking, put it on the register and said "ring me up, ****." Well, without the "****" part.
EDIT: HOLY CRAP. I looked at the release date and realized I have Celestial Completion a full 4 days ahead of the rest of you jerks. I need to take things out of boxes and buy them more often.
