Dang Radar, that's way cool! Other than the obviously great sculpting, I really like the coloring on that fella. Yea. Originally I wasn't going to do a glaze at all, but my art teacher encouraged me too. It's funny, because I thought the color was going to turn out a shade of blue.

Glazes are hard to make look good, and that's a nice job!

Why thank you! I'm pretty happy with it. I hope she'll like it!
Yav3n, yeah I might be able to do that. We'll see how time goes. I'm pretty swamped right now, so I wouldn't be able to make anything for a while. Remind me though!

Here's some of my paperclip fellas. I made a really cool scorpion with butterfly wings for a friend of mine (she likes to draw those). It turned out really good but I don't have any pictures of it. It's about the same size as the two bigger dragons here. My camera had a little tough time focusing on the wire and not the background, but it'll do. The two-legged dragon's mouth opens and closes and the four-legged one's tail moves. The little guy's head and legs move. Hope you enjoy! EDIT: they look WAY cooler in person - the pictures really don't do these fellas justice at all... That is one of the most amazing things I have seen done by hand... Simply amazing.

Why thank you! Those paperclip sculptures are quite a bit more difficult and time-consuming than the stuff made out of the wire, but I love the way they look.
So I gave the dolphin to that girl last night. She really REALLY liked it a lot! Three nights ago she was over and saw some of the wire I had out and was like, "I want a wire sculpture!" and I told her she'd have to wait until her birthday (June) haha. Then two nights ago she was talking about bottlenose dolphins and how much she adores them. She had no idea what she was getting for Christmas too! Anyways she was totally stoked. ;D

Who wouldn't like that dolphin? It's amazing. Haha thanks! She loves it. She named it Rily (sp?). We're now "official" (as of this past Friday). Since she loved the dolphin so much I wanted to do something similar for Valentine's Day, yet original. So I decided to make a wire-picture-frame (of paperclips!) and then draw a picture to go in it since I don't have any pictures of us yet minus the one that she gave to me with a nice frame and stuff. Anyways, my idea was that I could draw different pictures for her birthday, Christmas, whenever I feel like it, etc. and that way there could always be a new picture in the frame. here's what I did: Frame: Drawing: Frame + Drawing: Unfortunately my camera has a hard time focusing on near-objects so you'll have to excuse the blurriness. Hopefully she'll like it!

That's really nice! I especially like how I didn't notice the heart until my second glance.

Thanks guys! She really liked it a lot. Yeah, the heart is a little cliche maybe, but heck, it was for Valentine's Day. That kind of stuff is acceptable on that day.
