Yeah....um.. I haven't posted for like 9 months but my wife just saw BTA for the first time last night and had to tell you all what an awsome experience it was. They played a small place in Lancaster P.A. with Aletheian and Cattle Decapitation. Some other band opened up and they were pretty cool, kinda like Slipknot with Dan from Zao on vox but they liked to drop Fbombs on stage left and right so I didn't bother remembering their name.
Anyway Aletheian was up next and they toreitup. What an awsome band and Joel said he didn't even feel well. I couldn't tell. THe whole place seemed to be in awe as they played.
When BTA took the stage they just leveled the place. Louder than the others, more hard-hitting.....it was incredible. They just shred! The sound tech didn't seem to know how to mix them well though. I could hardly hear Seth and the other 2 guitars were really overpowering but the set was intence regardless.
Cattle Decapitation was O.K. Real fast, real noisey. The singer seemed intoxicated and kept dumping water on his head so when he thrashed around he sprayed everyone within 15 feet. Way too much distortion on the bass and not enough guitar in the house. I got to talk to some of the guys and they were real cool to me. Very approchable and freindly. They all seemed very tired and drained. I would too if I had been on the road for the last 10 weeks. Hope they have a safe trip home! I can't wait for the next time I get to see them. Seeing them live and getting to talk to them just made me like them that much more!
BTW. Pray for Jason. Me told me he had messed up his back earlier that day and seemed to be in pain. I couldn't see it till he said something. To go up there and give every thing you're able like that when your backs messed up.............
THANKS GUYS....... for what was an awesome "first BTA show" for me
