Haha, lame, man.
Terminate Damnation, I don't think they'll ever release another as good as it. I haven't listened to Dichotomy much, but TPOF...meh.
Terminate Damnation is one of my probably top 25 or 30 albums ever though.

Sadly, Terminate Damnation has lost it's shine for me. The last time I listened to it I was completely unmoved.

I'm really surprised TPOF hasn't gotten a single vote. An egg. Wow.
I think I'm actually of the opinion that the records keep getting better.

Dang.... Im gonna go with The Physics Of Fire. I just dont think they could write another album like that...they seriously outdid themselves. Probably in my top 10 metal albums ill ever hear. Dichotomy is like a notch up in everything...except it just cant live up to TPOF. I love all of there albums. Just TPOF really stood out to me and God really touched me through that album and even more so with Dichotomy. God bless

Call me weird. Call me ugly. Call me a stupid, close minded metal elitist, but I cannot deny my heart. The Physics of Fire is BTA's best album. Now, before I get owned, let me talk through it. The emotion, the solos, the speed, the heaviness, and the tone of the guitars just scream out to me and I embrace them. TD, I love, but BTA has done much better since. Dichotomy is growing on me, and I absolutely love some songs, but I find myself skipping over songs more often then naught. After thinking about it for a long time about why I would feel this way, I think it may have to do with the guitar tone and the drum mix. I find Duck's drums way more interesting to listen to in TPoF. And while I love Lopez and props to him for his talent, I just find myself bored. The more I listen to Dichotomy, the more I hear a resurrected Living Sacrifice, which is not a bad thing as I love LS. I just wanted the brutal technicality of TPoF, and I was left wanting. *braces himself like a man* I really like The Physics of fire, I like the drums alot, I like the guitars alot. A few things I don't like seem to do with the mix, I feel like the guitars are kind of weak, wheares Dichotomy's and TD's are nice and heavy. The bass also doesn't feel like it has a presence of TPOF. Thirdly I think the vocals on TPOF are a little bit monotonous, and while I like the clean vocals alot in spots, in others not so much. I also think TPOF didn't age very well. The first few listens were excellent, but now it's kind of "meh". TD I think is a little one-dimesensional. They do that one dimension fantastically, but it's all brutal metalcore-influenced death riffs. Dichotomy feels more varied, and the deep mix makes each listen feel fresh. My opinion may change after I have a year to listen to Dichotomy like TPOF and TD, but for now Dichotomy is my favorite.

Dichotomy. Terminate Damnation was absolutely excellent. Definitely the best premeire album I've ever heard from a band, ever. The Physics of Fire was rather disappointing from that. It reminded me of "The Tryptich" from Demon Hunter, after their first two albums. I just had my fingers crossed that BTA wouldn't go the same way that DH did... And when Dichotomy came out, I jumped around the room and threw stuff into walls while screaming at the top of my lungs. I was so happy that I think my brain actually exploded inside my head and melted out of my nose in my sleep. Out of curiosity..why did it remind you of the Triptych? TT from DH was a step towards mainstream..less techincal, veeery typical. Bland, nothing musically intense or chalenging. Physics, however, pushed for extreme progressivism, and wisdom pouring out his heart and soul in the lyrics..Longstanding metaphors FTW. I love all 3 albums for what they are. Each one has its distinctly different qualities that make BTA pwn.
